May 8, 2010: A Customer found a petite antique gold necklace and pendant inside of a travel iron package and returned it to our homeowner. Apparently, the homeowner hid it, wrapped up in tissue when she had traveled abroad and forgot about it. Thank you for your honesty!!

A Story to Brighten Your Day: 1/21/08 in Hewlett Harbor: A lovely lady, Elizabeth, found $1,000 inside the box containing a heating pad & (cover) that she had purchased. As she was a woman with values, she called the home owner to arrange return of the money!! Yes folks... many of us are good kind people. Don't believe what you read in the newspapers!! The homeowner treated the woman to a lunch for her office... giving her 25% of the find... and the woman returned the remaining cash. True story!
